You can support the local arts, while joining other Nordics for a bike ride.
This year, the United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) is having a 3-ride, 3-location series. The traditional, single large event, with many riders descending on the Lakefront the first Sunday in June, has been reimagined. Cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19, this year the UPAF Ride for the Arts Series is a new concept that provides a fun, purpose-driven event for cyclists of all ages and abilities.
Our Nordic group will gather for the June 13 ride, beginning and ending from the Sharon Lynn Wilson Center in Brookfield. We will choose an approximately 15-mile route before ending at the “Ride Series Reward Station.” We’ll meet at the Sharon Lynn Wilson Center at 9:30 a.m., distribute our route maps and take off. We must return to the Reward Station before 1:00 pm.
