Experience the scenic Red Cedar River in NW Wisconsin. Our group campsite has been reserved for Thursday, August 3 through Monday, August 7. We will be camping at Myron Park; this is a private campground just north of Sand Creek and has showers and flush toilets. The 2023 rate for each tent has been negotiated to be $23 per night/per tent at the group campsite.

Myron Park is a very desirable private campground within a popular recreational area. The 37- acre campground is right alongside the Red Cedar River and nestled among mature log pole pines.

The Red Cedar State Trail is another option for you to enjoy the beauty of the area. The trail passes by prairies, forests, marshlands and farmlands, including bluffs and unique rock formations. A state trail pass is required.

A Friday Fish Fry is planned at nearby Chetek. On Saturday evening some campers may decide to venture slightly north 12 miles to explore the privately owned Valkyrie Brewing Company in the small town of Dallas, Wisconsin. As shown on “Around the Farm Table”, this venue for beer aficionados in our group will not disappoint. Expect to take home a few bottles of the craft brew rather than sipping at the brewery. Of course, a bit of a taste will help you decide.
