Come One Come all to the Nordic Fall Hike On the Nordic Trails in the Southern Kettle Moraine. Feel the cool, crisp fall air, hear the rustle of leaves, see the earthy fall colors and smell the nutty air with your Nordic buddies.

WHY: The Nordic trails are a beautiful set of hiking trails located in the Southern Kettle Moraine. At this time of year, the trees will be well into their fall colors. There are 6 primary loops of trails: 0,6 to 9 mile distances. You can hike all or part of a trail, combine portions of loops to achieve the distance of your choice. The primarily intermediate rolling terrain offers a trail for everyone.

After working up a vigorous appetite: Lunch at the Backyard Bike Shop: in La Grange, WI. Check outthe menu at http://www.backyardbikes.com/Default.asp This little out of the way café offers a unique and healthy menu for vegetarians and carnivores alike.
